Obituary

Mildred R. Keck, 91, of Moore Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in her home.  She was the loving wife of Kenneth J. H. Keck who passed away on November 2, 2023. Together they celebrated 72 years of marriage.

Born June 11,1933 in Newburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles S. and Hilda (Ritchey) Fifield.

Mildred was a graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1951 and Northampton Community College with a degree in Nursing. Mildred worked at Gracedale and Spiegels and retired from Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. After retiring, she took care of elderly individuals through Caring Connections.

Through the years, Mildred regularly attended her children's and grandchildren's activities.  She was particularly a proud fan of Nazareth wrestling and football. Mildred was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Bethlehem.

She is survived by sons Lee Keck and wife Gail, Steve Keck and wife Kathy; daughter Lisa Lacko and husband Ed.  Grandchildren Timothy Keck, David Keck and wife Rachel, Eileen Keck and husband Mike, Alex Lacko, Nick Lacko, Cassie Chambers and husband Kyle, Heather Marshall and husband Jerry and Richard Marshall, Galen Haggerty with husband Timothy and Declan Haggerty; 10 great grandchildren. Mildred is also survived by her sister Lorraine Sevi, and sisters in law; Nancy Fifield, Maryann E. Keck, Lois Keck, Mary Lou Keck and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her infant daughter, brother William Fifield and sister Barbara Fifield.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at 11:30 AM at Epworth United Methodist Church, 3245 Oakland Road, Bethlehem, PA 18020 where A Celebration of Life will begin at 12 noon.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in Mildred's name may be sent to Family Pillars Hospice, 3910 Adler Place, Suite 130, Bethlehem, PA 18017 or Epworth United Methodist Church.
