Myra E. Bond, age 68, of Wind Gap, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 18, 2018. She was born in Mt. Carmel, PA, a daughter of June (Yetskie) Wismer and the late Walter J. Long Jr.

Myra graduated from Pen Argyl High School Class of 1968. Following graduation, she worked as a Production Planner for Bell and Howell and later B Braun prior to her retirement. She was a Penn State Master Gardener for over 20 years and a member of the Embroidery Guild of America.

She is survived by her daughter, Mishauna Black of Nazareth; grandchildren Noah, Callista and Emily; sisters, Karen Frey and husband James of Pen Argyl, and Breinny Mosella and husband David of Severn, MD; brothers David Long and wife Kathy of Bangor, and Matthew Long and wife Kim of Wind Gap; step- sisters Kathy Trillio, Janet Emes and Fran Thomas; step-brother David; nieces, Megan Pultz and husband George, Mackenzie Kramer and husband Rich, Sophia, Kendra and Carley; and nephews Steven, Jake, George, Cameron, Bobby, Adam, Kyle and Michael.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 6 pm in the Wind Gap American Legion, 217 North Broadway, Wind Gap, PA. A reception, following the service, will be held in the banquet hall of the legion.
