Nicole A. (Markle) Goodspeed, loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister, of Bath, PA, passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2015, at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, at the age of 45. Together for 26 years, she is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Henry Goodspeed. Together they have a daughter, Devynn Ann, and a son, Dillon Michael, both at home. Born on April 4, 1969, in New Brunswick, NJ, Nicole was the beloved daughter of George and Nancy (Lambert) Markle of Middlesex, NJ. Also surviving are two brothers, John Markle (Beth) and David Markle. Nicole graduated from Middlesex High School, attended Penn State and received her Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Rutgers University. She worked as a personal banker. A member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Nazareth, she served as a catechist for the past six years. She enjoyed traveling, exercising and going to Starbucks. Her greatest joy was being a full time wife and mother and she especially loved making everyone laugh. It was Nicole's wish to be an organ donor in order to make a difference in the lives of others. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 11, 2015, from 1-4pm in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January12, 2015, at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 23 Forest Drive, Nazareth. There will be no calling prior to Mass. Burial will be private with the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nicole's name may be made to the American Heart Association, Lehigh Valley Division, 212 East Broad Street, Bethlehem, PA 18018.
