Norma M. Williams' Obituary
Norma M. "Jennie" Williams, 84 of Nazareth, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 at her residence. Born March 16, 1933, in Holstein, IA, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Alice (Jepsen) Jensen. She was the loving wife of the late Donald E. "Jabby" Williams who died Nov. 21, 1996.
She worked in the Human Resources Dept. at Gracedale for many years until retiring. Prior, she had worked for Easton Hospital in the outpatient office. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth where she was very active, and served as usher and greeter. She was a member of the Amazing Ladies Bowling League at Bar-Don Lanes, Easton. Jennie served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during peacetime.
Norma is survived by her sons, Wayne A. "Wally" (Kimberly D.) of Nazareth, and Donald E., Jr. of Bushkill, Twp.; siblings, Mary Lou Spoo, Walter (Lois) Jensen, Elaine Jensen, Alice Faye Jensen and Janice (Don) Button all of Estherville, IA, and Linda (Jon) Lindquist of Lafayette, MN; 6 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law Phyllis. She was predeceased by a brother, Glen Jensen; son, Dale E.; and granddaughter, Tanya Jo.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday, January 13, 2018, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, PA. Funeral services will start at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Jennie will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to her church, 200 S. Broad Street, Nazareth, PA 18064.
