Patricia C. Steinmetz, 75, of Stockertown passed away unexpectedly on February 10, 2026, at St. Luke's Hospital in Fountain Hill. Born on September 18, 1950, in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William and Viola Bush Clauser and the devoted wife of the late Warren "Buster" Steinmetz, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

Pat's life was full of love, humor, and creativity. She grew up on a farm in Williams Township, surrounded by a large, extended and loving family. It was there she learned a dinner table could never be big enough. And it was there that she also honed her quick wit and her knack for storytelling. Generally she was known as a sweet woman, but it was her clever quips and sayings, often with a dash of sarcasm, that became her signature. Her laughter was infectious, and her presence a source of comfort and joy.

A proud graduate of Wilson High School's Class of 1968, Pat's professional journey led her to the corporate office of the former Binney & Smith Co., now known as Crayola LLC. Her dedication and hard work were recognized as she became a valued member of both the 25 and 40 Year Clubs.

Pat was a long-time member of Forks United Church of Christ. She also served as Secretary of the Forks Cemetery Board, a testament to her respect for heritage and her service to others.

Pat was very involved as Treasurer and the Unit seamstress of Historical Impressions of America, Inc., a reenactment group centered on Civil War Living Histories. Her hands were rarely still, as she channeled her creativity into ceramics, painting, and sewing. But it was her talent for creating meticulous replicas of military uniforms that was a passion connecting her to the past and to the people she loved.

A life well-lived and a heart that loved without measure, her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories told and retold by those who were fortunate enough to have been part of her journey. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter in her son, Ray Steinmetz, his wife Kelly and their son Harrison all of Lower Nazareth; her other adored grandchildren Alexandria and Eric and their mother, Jennifer of Murrells Inlet, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews who held a "very special place in her heart" as if they were her own brothers and sisters. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Henry Clauser, and her sister, Helen Ritter.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing, Monday February 16, from 9:30-11am in the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, PA. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forks Cemetery, Stockertown.
