Pauline D. Grube, 93, formerly of Effort and Easton, passed away Monday, June 24, 2013 in Pleasant Valley Manor, Snydersville. BORN: Born September 24, 1919 in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of the late Arlington and Lulu Miller Keller. PERSONAL: Pauline worked as a home care practical nurse in the Easton area before retiring. In her spare time Pauline enjoyed cooking, and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. MEMBERSHIPS: She was a member of Zion United Lutheran Church in Brodheadsville. SURVIVORS: Pauline is survived by two sons, LeRoy Spence and his wife Judy of Easton, and George Spence and his wife Elaine of Chesapeake, VA; one daughter, Carolyn Rice of Effort; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Keller of Saylorsburg; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Beverly Ann Spence in infancy, in addition to three brothers and three sisters. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 202 West St., Wind Gap. Relatives and friends are invited to call 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Township.
