Philip Vernon Roth, 73, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 18, 2019 in his Saylorsburg home. He was under the loving care of his wife, Linda Roth, and St. Luke's Hospice.

Philip was born September 22, 1945 to the late Rev. Clarence and Myrna Roth. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, proudly served in the US Army, and was a longtime member of the LV Freewheelers.

Philip was the loving father of Michael Roth and Philip (Kerry) Roth; caring stepfather to Maurice (Robyn) Clark and Christy (Shawn) Krum; and proud "Pop" of Heidi, Hannah, Jake, Casey, Kyle, Austin and Nick. He is lovingly remembered by siblings, Rev. Steven (Alison) Roth, Miriam (Mark) Blanco; nephews, Matthew, Jonathan and David; and nieces, Anne, Jennifer, Sarah and Rebecca.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 24, in Faith Lutheran Church at 1:30 pm. Calling hours begin at 12:30 pm in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Easton, PA 18040. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St, Nazareth.
