Ray G. Kromer, 95 of Forks Township, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan 18, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital Muhlenberg. He was the devoted husband of Arlene Ott Kromer who passed away October 24, 2002.

Born October 7, 1925 in Bath, he was a son of the late George and Florence Peters Kromer.

Ray spent his entire life living and working on farms where he learned the meaning of hard work and determination. He was primarily a dairy farmer and before retiring he owned and operated Clear Spring Farm in Forks Township.

He was a member of Forks United Church of Christ, Stockertown, the former Easton Moose Lodge No. 45, past member of the Sandt's Eddy Fire Co. where he volunteered as a fireman, a PAG corn seed dealer and, as a proud Pennsylvania Dutchman, he was a member of the Grundsow Lodsch Nummer Tzae where he was able to hear and speak the dialect.

Ray was very proud of his family and their accomplishments and he treasured times spent with them. He also maintained a lifelong friendship with his brother-in-law, best friend and fellow farmer "Unk Pete" Kiefer. In later years, Ray enjoyed the company of his companion Betty Stocker and her family.

He will be missed and remembered by his family, daughters Ellen-Rae Price and her husband David of Macungie, Carolyn Frey and her husband Randall of Standardsville, VA and Tracey Cressman and her husband Gregg of Tatamy; grandchildren, Christopher Frey and his wife Christie, Amanda Gardner and her husband Scott, Evan Price and his wife Ashley, and Brandon and Ashley Cressman; great-grandchildren Carson Frey, Everett and Harrison Gardner; in addition to several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by a brother Dallas Keichel and sisters, Roma Grover, Caroline Toth and Mae Kline.

Private services and burial in Forks Cemetery were held with the family under the care of Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.

Memorial contributions in Ray's name may be offered to Forks United Church of Christ, 4500 Sullivan Trail, Stockertown, PA 18083.
