Ray A. Lieberman Jr., 68, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away November 2, 2022 in Good Samaritan Society, Daytona Beach, FL. Born December 2, 1953 in Easton, he was a son of the late Ray A. Sr. and Lucinda Ackerman Lieberman. He was the husband of Donna (Keller) Lieberman who passed away on January 16, 2020.
Ray and his wife Donna owned and operated Lieberman's Drive-In in Bushkill Township. Following retirement, they moved to Florida in 2005. While in Bushkill Township Ray made many life-long friends at the diner. He enjoyed classic cars and held cruise nights while in business where he would have his 1969 Camaro on display. After retiring to Florida, Ray and his wife enjoyed cruises, watching QVC , following NASCAR races and driving his scooter to Tamoca Christian Church for Sunday Service. Ray was a man of great faith, and in later years, when he couldn't attend church, he would watch services on TV.
Ray is survived by one son, Kevin Lieberman Sr. and wife Jamie; two stepsons, John Merrick Jr. and partner Shaun Sherwood, and Jerri Skinner and companion Mark Reppert; grandson, Kevin Lieberman Jr.; step-grandchildren, Lee and Travis Rissmiller, David Fogel, and Tabitha Merrick; sister Shirley Hahn and her husband James; brother David Lieberman and his wife Pam; and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday November 11 from 9:30 am-11:00 am in Hope United Church of Christ, 701 Cherry St., Wind Gap where the funeral service will begin at 11:00. Ray will be laid to rest in Bushkill M. E. Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in in Ray's name may be sent to Multiple Sclerosis Society, nationalmssociety.org. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 202 West St., Wind Gap.
