Robert Martin Detweiler, 84, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018.

Hs is survived by his wife of 66 years, Eileen E. Detweiler of Wind Gap, PA.

Robert was born in Pen Argyl, PA on August 31, 1934, a son of the late Elwood and Marion (Ealey) Detweiler.

Robert loved spending time with his family, camping, hunting, fishing, attending high school football and wrestling events, and cheering on the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies.

Robert is also survived by his children, Steve and his wife Catherine of Louisville, KY, Tom and his wife Donna of Nazareth, PA, Diane Detweiler of Emmaus, PA, and Dan and his wife Kerri of Lenhartsville, PA; his grandchildren, Eric, Emily, Trezah, and Lyndsey; great grandchildren, Emma and Jackson; and his sister, Lorene Willauer and her husband Stanley of Bullhead City, AZ.

Robert was predeceased by his grandson, Shawn Detweiler; and his great granddaughter, Skylar Detweiler.

A private memorial service for friends and family will be held in the spring of 2019 under the direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap.
