Obituary

Robert P. Duvall, 88, of Bushkill Township, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 in Saucon Valley Manor, Hellertown. He was the husband of Jean E. Tittle Duvall, with whom he would have celebrated 61 years of marriage on New Year's Eve.

Born June 22, 1932 in Farmersville, he was a son of the late Oliver H. and Martha D. Phillips Duvall.

Robert honorably served 20 years in the US Navy as a senior chief gunner's mate, and later continued his service to his country in the reserves. He was employed as an electrical engineer for Bear Automotive Manufacturing Plant before retiring. Robert was a member of the Fleet Reserves Association Black Diamond Branch No. 115, as well as a life member of the Wind Gap American Legion.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Robert loved the outdoors and always enjoyed working outside and tending his gardens.

Along with his beloved wife Jean, Robert is survived by several nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. He was predeceased by six sisters and two brothers.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 10-11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 202 West St., Wind Gap. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am in Wind Gap Cemetery, Plainfield Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert's name may be offered to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
