Rocco D. Consiglio, 61, of Bushkill Township, formerly of Staten Island, NY passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2018 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the loving husband of Jane Kent Consiglio. Together they shared 28 years of marriage. Born August 28, 1956 in Jersey City, NJ, he was a son of the late Dominick and Rachel A. Perri Consiglio.
Most recently, Rocco was the Vice President of Sales for the Greater New York Hospital Association. Devout in his faith, he was an active member of the Cornerstone Church in Easton. Rocco dedicated his life to his family and also in helping others. One of his greatest passions was preaching at the Riverside Ministry. He also served as Chaplin for the Northampton County Jail. Additionally, Rocco strongly believed in the positive influence of the Boy Scouts of America. Accordingly he was involved with the Boy Scouts in New Jersey and Pennsylvania for over 30 years. As a committed and long standing member, he achieved the rank of Life Scout and encouraged his sons to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.
In addition to his wife Jane, he is survived by 2 sons; Rocco W. Consiglio and his girlfriend LeeAnne Lower, and Matthew J. Consiglio and his fianceé Brittany Marchie; 1 daughter Brianna M. Consiglio and her boyfriend David Leiendecker; 1 brother Paul Consiglio; 1 sister, Nancy Berger; and his special companions, dogs Chloe and Charis.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday evening, April 26, 2018 from 6pm -7pm in Cornerstone Church, 42 S. 2nd Street, Easton, PA. Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, schmidtfuneralhomepc.com.
