Ruth N. Breidinger, 96, passed away July 30, 2022 at Asbury Chandler Estate in Pen Argyl.  Ruth was born in Eldred Twp., Monroe Co. on March 17, 1926.  She was the daughter of the late Milton and Sarah (Derhammer) Buskirk.  Ruth was a graduate of Whitehall High School in 1944 and married Charles H. Breidinger in 1946.  They were married 56 years before his passing in 2002.

Ruth worked at various blouse mills throughout the Slate Belt area but her main priority was her family.  She was an avid quilter and many family members have been proud recipients of her beautiful work.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Charles (Jackie), Jack (Judy); grandchildren, Ben (Sheila), Jason (Keshua), Karen Trinkle (Mark), Kristen Kruk (Jason), and 12 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 4 from 10-11 AM in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth where the funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Ruth will be laid to rest in Belfast Union Cemetery.
