Ruth A. Reed, 92, of Hanover Township, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at St. Lukes Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Frederick T. Reed, who died in April, 2000. Born April 23, 1923 in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Harriet (Lichty) Bernhard. She was a member of Forks United Church of Christ, Stockertown. Ruth is survived by two sons, Donald Brensinger and his wife Dorothy, and Glenn Brensinger and his wife Leora, both of Allentown; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Fred, she was predeceased by her brother, Ray Bernhard, and her sister, Elen Edwards A private burial will be held in Forks Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth.
