Ruth (Weinreich) Ruffino, 92, of Forks Township, entered heaven on Saturday, August 12, 2017.

Born in Aschersleben, Germany on May 9, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Karl and Anna Ermes Weinreich.

She was the wife of the late Robert Ruffino, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage prior to his death in 2010.

Ruth was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Forks Township where she participated in many activities and groups.

She is survived by two daughters, Anita and her husband Rev. Donald Brand and Laura and her husband Don Flareau; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; Timothy and Kelly Brand and their children Benjamin, Christopher and Lillian, Philip and Jillian Brand and their son Jason, Anrdea and Brian Weldin and their son Samuel and Jacqueline and Jessica Flareau.  Also nephew Rev. Peter and Valerie Reetz and family and niece Margit and Todd Gery and family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 12:30 pm in Faith Lutheran Church, 2012 Sullivan Trail, Easton.  Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 11 am until time of service in the church.
