Sandra L. (Sandy) Evely, 77, of Bushkill Township, passed away unexpectedly on March 25, 2024 in St Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill.  She was the beloved wife of James (Jim) Evely.

Born April 13, 1946 in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Hilda (Young) Lilly.

Sandy was a graduate of Nazareth High School, class of 1964.  She worked at the former Nazareth National Bank, retiring as head teller after 12 years of service.  She enjoyed the out of doors which included yard work, horseback riding and tending to her animals.  Sandy and Jim also cherished the times they spent traveling in their motorhome to different racing venues including the Daytona 500.

She is survived by her sisters-in-law Barbara Lilly and Johann Evely.  Along with her parents, Sandy was predeceased by her brother James Lilly and nephew David Lilly.

A private burial will be held, at a later date, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Memorials in Sandy's memory may be sent to The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042.  Arrangements are under the care of the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth PA.
