Sara H. Baldanza, 55, of Lower Nazareth, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. BORN: Born November 30, 1957 in Allentown, she was a daughter of Mary Desch Ruch of Bath, and the late Carl Ruch. Sara was the wife of Joseph Baldanza, who passed away January 21, 2010. PERSONAL: Sara was a graduate of East Brunswick High School. Along with her husband Joe, she was the owner/operator of Packaging Services and Consulting. Sara was blessed with a generous heart and a fabulous sense of humor. Her ability to "chat" was evidenced by her many friends and acquaintances. She loved her pets and adored her family, especially her grandchildren. SURVIVORS: In addition to her mother Mary, Sara will be lovingly remembered by two sons, Joseph III and his wife Karen of Nazareth, and James and his wife Melissa of Florida; one daughter, Jennifer Heaton and her husband John of Nazareth; two brothers, Lee Ruch of Bath, and Larry Ruch and his wife Jeanmarie of South River, NJ; one sister, Beth Hedin and her husband Bob of Pittsburgh; and four grandchildren, Joey, David, Matteo and Jordyn. SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday at the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth, with the Rev. Curtis Kemmerer presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to call 1:00-2:00 pm Friday in the funeral home. Burial in Hope Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
