Sampson

Nazareth
Sarah E. Sampson, 40, of Upper Nazareth Township, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 2, 2018 at her residence. Born January 21, 1978, in Fountain Hill, she was the daughter of Daniel Fenstermaker, of Palmer Township, and Cynthia Markovitz Eichner and her husband Elwood Eichner of Nazareth. She was the beloved wife of Richard Sampson Jr. with whom she shared 13 years of marriage.
A graduate of Nazareth High School, class of 1996, Sarah continued her studies and attended Marywood College. Later she was employed as a receptionist for Old Orchard Health Care Center in Bethlehem Township. Working at the front desk since the start of their operations, Sarah was quite a familiar face and friend to many families and clients served over the years. Throughout her life she had faced many physical struggles but with her fortitude and fighting spirit she was always able to persevere and prevail over the adversities in her life. At home, she enjoyed reading, and crocheting but it was the time spent with her family and especially her adoring daughter Emma that was most precious to her. Emma was not only the light of her life but she was also a great help to Sarah with day to day tasks.
In addition to her parents, husband and daughter, Sarah is survived by 2 brothers, Adam Fenstermaker and his fianceé Melissa Rogers and Andrew Fenstermaker, all of Easton; maternal grandparents, Minnie and William Markovitz and paternal grandmother, Esther Fenstermaker; and several aunts and uncles. She was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Emory Fenstermaker.
