Shirley Keen, 80, of Allentown, passed away early Sunday morning, July 3, 2016, at Phoebe Home, Allentown.    She was the wife of the late Rev. Richard Keen, with whom she shared 23 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2008. Born March 19, 1936, in Coplay, she was the daughter of the late Allen and Ellen Quigg Lindenmuth.

Shirley worked as an LPN for the former Allentown General Hospital, now part of the Lehigh Valley Health Network, from where she retired after more than 33 years of service.  She enjoyed playing the organ at the Roseto Presbyterian Church, where her late husband was the pastor.  She was a member of both St. John's UCC Mickleys, Whitehall, and St. John's UCC, Nazareth.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Donna Day and her husband David of Nazareth, Ellen Rohrbach of HI, and Barbara Zotter and her husband Bruce of Allentown; a step-son, Richard Keen, Jr., of IN; and a step-daughter, Betsy Keen of Bangor.  Also surviving are 3 grandchildren, Bobby Day, Jade Chong and Karl Zotter; 2 great-grandchildren; and 4 brothers, Bobby, Ronnie, Ralph and Butch Lindenmuth.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, William Rohrbach, and 2 brothers Larry and Dale Lindenmuth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside memorial service on Thursday, July 7, at 3:00 pm at Bethlehem Memorial Park, 1851 Nazareth Pike, Bethlehem, with Rev. Jeffrey Brinks officiating.  Those attending are asked to meet at the main entrance to the cemetery by 2:45 pm.  Services are under the care and direction of Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA.
