Shirley M. Kram, 92, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, November 10, 2021 with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Eugene E. Kram who passed away on June 29, 1997.
Born April 22, 1929 in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Beulah (Correll) Leh.
Shirley was a graduate of Nazareth High School, Class of 1947, and later worked for Suncrest Farms, Beverly Blouse, Kraemer Textile and Gracedale prior to retiring. She was an excellent baker and cook and often followed the traditional Pennsylvania Dutch recipes for her family's favorites such as Pig Stomach.
She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Nazareth and enjoyed attending social functions with friends at the Salvation Army.
Shirley is survived by her only child Barry and his wife Donna of Albrightsville, grandchildren Thomas Kram and Kristen Kram both of Albrightsville and Sarah Hall and her husband Michael of Lehighton and great grandchildren Hailee, Jacob, Mia and Ryker. She was predeceased by sister Pauline Knitter and brother Claude Leh.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Saturday November 20, 2021 from 10-11 AM in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth where the funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Shirley will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery, Nazareth.
