Steven M. Bell,73, of Upper Nazareth, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 17, 2024, in LVHN Oaks, Hecktown. Born on August 12, 1950, in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Bernard and Pearl (née Nathan) Bell.

Steve's heart was always fullest when surrounded by his beloved family. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Jane (née Breinig), who was his partner in life's dance and his rock. Together, they cherished every moment, creating a legacy of love and commitment. Steve was the proud father of 3 children; Lauren Bjerklie of Stroudsburg, Michael Bell and his wife Sarah of New Brighton, PA, and daughter, Sarah Arcangeletti and her husband Michael of Old Forge. His seven precious grandchildren, Caitlin, David, Naomi, Charissa, Michael, Charlotte, and Amy, were the lights of his life, and he reveled in their every achievement and smile.

Throughout his life, Steve had a diverse working background which included sales for TruGreen, a division of Chemlawn. Prior to retirement, he owned his own painting business for many years, Master's Touch.

Steve's interests and hobbies were as varied. He was a devout churchgoer and an active member of Maranatha Family Christian Fellowship in Nazareth, where he often played the drums, sharing his musical talents with his faith community. A true movie buff, Steve cherished his DVD collection and the joy of watching films at home. Additionally, his passion for magic never waned, and he was always eager to entertain with a trick or two, delighting both young and old with his sleight of hand.

His contributions to the community extended beyond his local church. Steve was a proud member of the Republican National Committee (RNC) and the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF). His support for Samaritan's Purse was particularly noteworthy, demonstrating his commitment to charitable work and his desire to make a positive impact on the world.

Steve's legacy is not one of material possessions, but of the love, laughter, and faith he shared with everyone around him. His memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories told, the lessons he taught, and the unwavering love he gave. Steve's journey on earth has ended, but his spirit continues to inspire and guide those he left behind. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Friends and relatives are invited to a viewing, Friday, from 10-11 am, with the funeral beginning at 11 in the Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
