Suzy M. Walker, 66, of Plainfield Township, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 27, 2025 in her home.  She was the loving wife of Vernon Walker; they were together for 40 years.

Born April 3, 1958 in Islip, New York, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Marilyn (Mahar) Dieckhoff.  Suzy worked as an executive administrative assistant at Miller Keystone Blood Center.

Suzy was known for her kind nature and big heart.  She loved her family and especially cherished the times she spent with her grandchildren.  Suzy also enjoyed gardening and was an active member of St Peter's Lutheran Church, Plainfield Township.

Along with her husband Vern, Suzy is survived by her son Richard Haner and his wife Nicole; grandchildren Matthew, Lavinna and Jacob; and her brother Thomas Dieckhoff, his wife Margaret and their children Tom and Tad.

Suzy was predeceased by her sister Kathy Dieckhoff.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Sunday from 2-4 pm and Monday from 10-11 am in St Peter's Lutheran Church, 1422 Church Road, Pen Argyl (Plainfield Township) 18072.  The funeral service will follow at 11 am on Monday in the church.  Burial will be in Wind Gap Cemetery.
