Thelma E. Tomino, 82, of Nazareth, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015, after a short illness at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. She was the loving wife of the late Robert M. Tomino, with whom she shared 47 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. Born May 13, 1933 in Saylorsburg, Thelma was one of seven children born to the late Albert C. and Helen Bittenbender Arnold. Thelma graduated from Stroudsburg High School and received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Albright College. A homemaker for most of her life, she was devoted to her family and enjoyed being a Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Nazareth. Thelma was the loving mother of two daughters, Katherine Hoadly and her husband Dennis, of Wind Gap, and Dianne Duignam and her husband Luke K. of Nazareth. Also surviving is her brother, Claude Arnold; her sisters, Ellen Flick, Dottie Krause, Carol Koehler and Anita Fisher; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Charles Arnold. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, September 25, from 7 to 9 pm, and on Saturday, September 26, from 9 to 10 am at the Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 100 E Beil Ave, Nazareth, PA, 18064. Funeral services will begin on Saturday at 10 am in the church with the Rev. Carl J. Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Schmidt Funeral Home, PC, Nazareth.
