Thomas A. Bath, 65, of Lehigh Township, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, February 1, 2016. He was the loving husband of Melanie King Bath, with whom he shared 19 years of marriage this past September. Born October 25, 1950 in Fountain Hill, PA, he was the son of the late Arnold and Zena Widell Bath.
Tom graduated from Nazareth High School with the Class of 1968. He worked as a fork lift operator for Crayola in Easton, from where he retired in 2012 after 43 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed motor sports, especially sprint cars and late model dirt cars. He enjoyed heavy metal bands, flea markets, day trips, Musikfest, and going to Mohegan Sun. He also loved a good cigar.
Along with his beloved wife Melanie, Tom is survived by his son, John, a grandson, Andrew, and his feline friends, Murphy and Mandy.
Relative and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 6, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name may be offered to Peaceable Kingdom, 1049 MacArthur Road, Whitehall, PA, 18052, or to the Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park road, Bethlehem, PA 18042.
