Vera Jane Tucker Sisolak, 81, formerly of Washington Twp, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015, at Brakeley Park Center, Phillipsburg, NJ. She was the wife of the late Francis J. "Freddie" Sisolak who died in November, 2007. Born on October 10, 1933, in Wilson Borough, she was a daughter of the late George M. and Mary R. (Popovice) Tucker. Vera graduated from Pen Argyl High School, and from 1951 through 1956 she worked in the Medical Records Department of the Easton Hospital. In 1957 she became the Real Estate Supervisor at the Northampton County Government Center, and worked in that position until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel & St. Vincent DePaul Churches, Bangor, and was a member of Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality. Vera is survived by two brothers, George Tucker, and Robert Tucker and his wife Jeanette; and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Freddie, she was predeceased by her brother, Richard Tucker. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Pen Argyl. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, P.C., 202 West Street, Wind Gap. Memorial contributions in Vera's name may be offered to the charity of one's choice.
