Victor J. Roberts, a man known for his quick wit, warm heart, and skilled hands, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, July 28, 2024, in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. Born July 9, 1937, in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of the late William Harold and Anna (Koch) Roberts. He was the husband to his beloved wife, Tamara (Long) Roberts, with whom he would have celebrated 58 years of marriage, on August 13.

After graduating from Nazareth High School, Victor proudly and honorably served his country in the US Army. Later, he worked as a lineman for Met-Ed, where he was a colleague, mentor and friend to many until his well-earned retirement.

Victor demonstrated the value of hard work, with the need to always stay busy, in both his professional and personal lives. He was the embodiment of the phrase "jack of all trades"—there was nothing he couldn't fix, and he was always the first to offer help. His reliability and handiness were cornerstones of his character. In retirement, Victor found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He relished the time spent taking care of his twin grandsons when they were small, creating memories that would last a lifetime. His interests and hobbies were also a reflection of his personality. He was a skilled woodworker who could build a house from the ground up or a beautiful piece of furniture. An antique car enthusiast, he had a particular fondness for muscle cars and his restored MG's. But perhaps his sense of humor could be considered one of his most endearing traits – always ready with a quip and a nickname ready for everyone he knew! As the years went on, he cultivated a new passion in the kitchen. Inspired by the Cooking channel, Victor became quite the cook, much to the delight of his family and friends.

He held memberships through work with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and through fraternity as a Mason with the Whitfield Lodge #622, Consistory, Shriners, and Tall Cedars of Lebanon East Forest 0035. He was also a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Victor's life was enriched by his loving family. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Tammy, and a cherished father to his daughters, Lee Ann Strouse and her husband Al of Southaven, MS, and Kimberly Killino and her husband Todd of Wind Gap. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Tyler Diehl, Casey Diehl, Josephine Killino, and Jocelyn Killino, who will remember him for his playful spirit and the wisdom he imparted. Victor's sisters, Joanne Kostenbader and her husband Thomas of Maine, and Norlaine Williams and her husband Richard of Nazareth, will hold dear the memories of their brother's kindness and steadfast presence. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
