Viola "Vi" Reimer, 93, formerly of Bushkill Twp., passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Country Meadows of Bethlehem, where she had been a resident for the past 3 years. She was the wife of the late Mason Reimer who died in August, 2012. Born July 16, 1922 in Wind Gap, she was a daughter of the late Clifford and Amy Houck Florey.

Viola graduated from Pen Argyl High School with the Class of 1940. She worked at the JT Baker Chemical Company in New Jersey, from where she retired.  She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Moorestown, where she was a member of the Altar Guild and sang on the choir.

Viola was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and is survived by her daughters, Kay Smith and her husband Robert, and Susan Fenner and her husband John; a step-son, Curt Reimer, his wife Pam; and a step-daughter Pam Kintzer, her husband Barry. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Melissa Fenner Shauger, her husband J., Anthony Capozzolo, his wife Susan, and Amy Capozzolo; step-grandchildren, Krista Reimer, Brianne Conway and her husband Kirk, Bethanie Bartone and her husband Scott, and Brent Kintzer; and great-grandchildren Emerson, Matthew, Mary, James, Thomas and William. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister Verna Goodge.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 22, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 696 Johnson Road, Nazareth (Moorestown), PA, 18064.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Royan Rodney officiating.  Burial will follow at Plainfield Cemetery, Pen Argyl (Plainfield Twp.). Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home, Nazareth.
