Virgil M. Teada, 97, formerly of Nazareth, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013 in Gracedale. BORN: Born September 16, 1915 in Bushkill Township, she was a daughter of the late Milton G. and Ellen Fehr. Virgil was the wife of Franklin D., who died in 1964. PERSONAL: She was employed by Kraemer Textile and the Waste Mill before retiring. In her spare time, Virgil enjoyed baking (especially pies), tatting and flower gardening. MEMBERSHIPS: She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Nazareth. SURVIVORS: Virgil will be lovingly remembered by one son, David and his wife Linda of Nazareth; one daughter, Marlene Schlachter and her late husband Anton of Coconut Creek, FL; four grandchildren, Gregory Norton of Nazareth, Matthew Teada of Pen Argyl, Kathleen Millhime and her husband Mark of Easton, and Trenace Walker of Coconut Creek, FL; and six great-grandchildren, Jonathan Norton of Alpha, NJ, Matthew Teada, Jr. of Pen Argyl, Jared Millhime of Easton, Tyler Walker of Coconut Creek, Fl, Brooke Michaud of Coconut Creek, Fl, and Kassandra Millhime of Easton. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday in St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 S. Broad St., Nazareth, with the Rev. David B. Schaeffer presiding. Relatives and friends are invited to call 10:00-11:00 am Friday in the church. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Schmidt Funeral Home P.C., 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.
