Warren W. "Jr." Klipple, 84, of Nazareth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 4, 2021 in the St. Luke's Brian D. Perin Hospice House with his daughters by his side. He was the loving husband of Dorothy "Dottie" (Baltz) Klipple who passed away on January 26, 2019.
Born July 8, 1937 in Bath, he was the son of the late Warren Sr. and Harriet (Strunk) Klipple.
Warren graduated from Nazareth High School, Class of 1956 and served in the U S Army from 1958-1960. He was employed at the Nazareth Steel Fabricators, Schwerman Trucking and Lone Star Cement Company before retiring.
He was a social member at various clubs in the area including East Lawn Fire Company, Nazareth Vigilance Hose Co., Nazareth VFW Post 4366, Nazareth Ameican Legion Post 415 and the Bangor VFW Post 739 where he looked forward to catching up with friends.
He enjoyed tending his vegetable garden and took great pride in his manicured lawn and flower beds, attending auctions and antique car shows and fishing for salmon in New York. Warren liked to cook, but nothing could match his hot seasoned crackers, delicious pretzels or his "world famous" jalapeno hot pepper sandwiches. He was also an avid fan of the Nazareth Blue Eagles, The Philadelphia Eagles and NASCAR Racing.
Warren is survived by his loving daughters; Chanel Letwinch and husband Tommy and Adele Yoder and husband Samuel; grandchildren Tabitha Pavlo and husband Joe, Madison Brunk and husband Tyler, Patrick Yoder and Cameron and Courtney Letwinch; great grandchildren Cassidy Pavlo, Asher Brunk, sister Dolores "Dolly" Stier and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, November 11 form 6-8 PM and Friday, November 12 from 10-11 AM in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth where the funeral service will follow at 11 AM. Warren will be laid to rest in Hope Cemetery, Hecktown.
