The Rev. William "Bill" Alfred Abrams was graciously carried home by our Lord and Savior Jesus on March 24, 2021 at the age of 85. He was born on April 9, 1935 in Camden, N.J.

Rev. Abrams, a retired United Methodist Elder serviced both the Greater NJ and Eastern PA conferences. He received his Master of Divinity at The Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary. William helped many to grow in the grace and truth of our Lord Jesus even after he retired, by writing lesson plans for other churches, including other denominations. He is the author of "The Blessings of St. John," a devotional book on the Gospel of John. William also worked for RCA writing curriculum for colleges and vo-tech schools in the Dallas, Texas area.

William served in the US Army from 1954 to 1963 where he received the good conduct medal. He was in the 66th AAA Missile Battalion.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years, Mildred Abrams of Wind Gap PA; his son Edward Abrams (Marietta) of Huntington Valley, PA; his son Glenn Abrams (Jackie) of Atlantic City, NJ; his daughter Kathleen Pfleider of Mandeville, LA.; his grandchildren Anthony (Lindsey), Nick, Mark (Kristina), Kevin (Briannah), Sean (Rachel), and Erika; his great grandchildren Gia, Sienna, Mia Grace, Blaith, Zane, Trey, Chandler, Aiden and Ava; and his sister, Eileen Abrams.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John Abrams and Helen Meyers, his brother Jack Abrams and his sister Caroline Werts.

A Memorial Service will be held at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in East Brunswick, NJ on Monday April 12, 2021. Service will begin at 11am. A time of gathering will occur from 10am to 11am. Masks must be worn.
