William A. Roberts, age 88, of Upper Nazareth PA, passed away on December 1, 2022 , at Country Meadows, Bethlehem. William was born on April 18, 1934 in Upper Nazareth, PA, the son of the late William L. and Mamie (Smith) Roberts.  He was the husband of the late Jane (Roth) Roberts with whom he shared 54 years of marriage prior to her death in 2012.

Bill was a 1952 graduate of Nazareth High School and later served in the Army during peace time.  He was employed by Hercules Cement/Buzzi Unicem in Stockertown, PA for 42 years as a physical cement tester.

Bill took great pleasure in spending time with his grandchildren, golfing with friends, as well as going to garage/yard sales and flea marketing.

Bill was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Nazareth PA.  He was a member of Whitfield Lodge #622 of Tatamy, PA, and Rajah Shriners A.A.O.N.M.S of Blandon, PA.  He was also a charter member of Colonial Rose #795 High 12 Club.  Additionally, he was a member of the Forks of the Delaware Bottle Club, Lehigh Valley Postcard Club, and St. Paul's III Lutheran Church Ambassador Club, Easton PA.

He is survived by 2 daughters; Priscilla Carroll and husband, Patrick of Porter, TX, and Monica Ehrlich of Nazareth, PA and 4 grandchildren; Timothy and Megan Carroll of Houston, TX, and Makenna and Maxwell Ehrlich of Nazareth, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday evening from 6 PM-8 PM, with a Masonic Service at 7 PM, and Wednesday from 10 AM-11 AM in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St., Nazareth.  A funeral service will follow at 11 AM.  Bill will be laid to rest in Fairview Cemetery, Moorestown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in William's memory may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 200 South Broad St., Nazareth PA or the Vision of Eagles, PO Box 231, Nazareth PA 19064.
